The Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair and the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Biological Sciences are offering a series of
Science Fair Workshops in September and October. Students in 6th-12th grade are encouraged to attend. Attendees will hear the perspectives of recent science fair
participants and a judge on choosing a great topic, designing experiments, and presenting results. Help your students kick-start their science fair habit by participating in one of these regional workshops.
Registration begins is at 6:00 PM each evening. The workshop will begin promptly at 6:30PM.
Admission & parking are free, but reservations are required.

Registration will take place in the front lobby. The event will take place in the auditorium.
Directions to Mellon Middle School: 11 Castle Shannon Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228
Take Rt. 19/ Washington Rd from downtown Pittsburgh towards the south. Turn left onto Castle Shannon Blvd.
The main entrance of Mellon Middle School will be on your left, across from the Mt. Lebanon Public Library. (Do not enter on Washington Rd.
That is the auditorium entrance and will be closed in the evening). There is a parking lot next to the school, as well as on
street parking on Castle Shannon Boulevard.
Registration will be inside the front door.

Registration will take place in the lower level lobby of Highmark Sportsworks. The event will take place in the Sportsworks lower level classrooms.
Directions to Franklin Regional Middle School: 3200 School Road, Murrysville, PA 15668 From the west, follow Route 22 East through Monroeville to Murrysville. In Murrysville, take the jug handle for Tarr Hollow Road. (After Bently's Motorcycle shop.) Follow to the first stop sign and turn right on to Old William Penn. Take this second left onto the campus and park in the lot. From the east, follow Route 22 West through Delmont to Murrysville. In Murrysville, turn right at the light at Walnut Plaza. (This is Cline Hollow Road.) At the next stop sign, make a left onto Old William Penn. Take this second left onto the campus and park in the lot.
Registration will be in the lobby at the main entrance.
